1.
Why choose Teen Court?
Teen Court allows participants to pay a minimal court cost of $20 and perform community service in lieu of paying for fines and court costs. Teens will be given up to 90 days to complete their community service and jury duties.
Successful completion of Teen Court keeps the violations from being reported on your driving record which could increase your automobile insurance rates and possibly suspend your driver’s license.
2.
What do I have to do in Teen Court?
Appear at your first Teen Court setting with a parent or guardian. Follow the dress code required each time you appear in Teen Court. Complete community service hours as determined by a jury of your
peers. Perform jury duties in Teen Court to determine community service for others.
