About the Park
Clyde Zellers Park is a 5.19-acre neighborhood park located at Snow Heights Elementary School and named for former North Richland Hills Mayor Clyde Zellers. The park is available for public use after school hours and on holidays. There is a shaded pavilion with benches and tables, a playground with swings, practice fields, open play areas, and a walking trail.
This park also has an art installation titled Pinwheel by artist David Hickman. Three kinetic whirligigs act like weather vanes to produce a sculptural ballet. The pinwheels are connected to image disks with curved tubes bring to mind shooting stars.
