The NRH Parks Maintenance Team recently relocated four popular artworks from their long-term spots along Bedford Euless Road to allow for the replacement of a gas pipeline by Atmos Energy and upcoming street reconstruction.
Joe Barrington's "Armadillo" now has a new location at the entrance to the Calloway Branch trailhead at Adventure World Playground at 7451 Starnes Road.
Jim LaPaso's "Passion Flower," a playful kinetic metal sculpture, will stand in front of the NRH Senior Center at 6000 Hawk Avenue.
Once its concrete pad has set and cured, Buster Graybill's Cor-Ten steel sculpture "Integrity" will be placed along the Randy Moresi Trail at 4300 City Point Drive.
Delbert Beckham's "Flower Log" will undergo restoration this summer, and after sandblasting and repainting, it will be relocated to the NRH Centre Plaza at 6000 Hawk Avenue.
