Congratulations to our City of NRH Staff on being honored with the Momentum Award at the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards banquet on April 8, 2021. Each year, the Momentum Award is presented to an exceptional business or organization that has made a positive impact on the NRH community. Mayor Trevino and the City Council nominated City Staff for this honor because of the staff’s extraordinary efforts to help the community through the unprecedented events of the past year.
“They were focused on helping people and businesses in the community, even as they dealt with their own personal challenges. There was always attention to detail in what the needs were and in addressing those needs. And, they did all this with a positive attitude,” Mayor Trevino stated. “This was true for all City staff in every department from Public Safety to Information Technology to Public Works, Planning & Inspections, Budget & Finance, Economic Development, Library, Parks & Recreation, Neighborhood Services and Court. The focus was how do we continue to provide the services and meet the needs of the people and businesses in our community.”
Economic Development Director Craig Hulse was also honored with the chamber's Siegrid Charbonnet Community Spirit Award. This award is presented annually to a chamber member who shows an enthusiastic spirit of cooperation and a consistent community spirit by volunteering time and effort to chamber events and community causes. The recipient is chosen by a vote of the chamber general membership.
Thank you to all of our City Staff for your hard work. We appreciate you.
