[ARCHIVED] Storm Cleanup

broken tree limbs

The following options are available for NRH residents to dispose of tree limbs from Saturday’s storm.

  • Starting on Tuesday, Sept. 1, tree limbs and other storm debris can be dropped off at Green Valley Park, 7701 Smithfield Road. Please place limbs in the dumpsters in the park’s parking lot. This drop off location will remain open through Monday, Sept. 7.
  • On Wednesday, Sept. 2, Republic Waste will make a special collection of tree limbs and other storm debris placed on the curb. Limbs placed curbside for collection need to be bundled and cut into sections that are no longer than 4 feet in length and no more than 50 pounds. Fence panels should be cut into 4 foot sections. Items should be on the curb by 7 a.m.
  • NRH residents also have the option to haul limbs or other storm debris to the landfill in Arlington. Each North Richland Hills household gets two free entries into the landfill per year. A voucher must be presented to the landfill attendant along with your driver’s license. Vouchers may be obtained online at www.nrhtx.com/landfill or at the Water Department at City Hall.
