Junk Vehicles

junk vehicle

When a wrecked or dismantled vehicle sits in your driveway for an extended period of time, it becomes a safety hazard, nuisance and eyesore to the neighborhood. It is a place where children could get trapped and hurt. Environmental issues may also arise due to leaking oil and coolants and safety hazards may exist. Please be a good neighbor by fixing or getting rid of junk vehicles. City ordinance allows one inoperable vehicle that is awaiting repair to be parked in your driveway for no more than 15 days.

NRH Code of Ordinances: Chapter 34, Article IV. Division 2, Section 34-132
