You might see this vehicle cruising around NRH during the next few weeks. Starting Monday, Aug. 21, a Roadway Asset Services vehicle will be traveling through all NRH neighborhoods to inventory the condition of every street maintained by the city.
Equipped with high-tech cameras and sensors, it will gather data about each street’s current pavement condition, including subgrade conditions. It will also collect information on pavement markings, street signs, sidewalks and curb ramps. The vehicle will only collect data during daylight hours.
The city will use this information to prioritize future street maintenance and capital improvement projects.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to NRH Public Works at 817-427-6460.
