Unofficial Election Results

Tarrant County posted unofficial election results after the polls closed on May 6. The unofficial results show that all propositions to amend the City Charter passed except for Proposition G to remove the requirement that Planning & Zoning Commissioners own property within the City.

City Council Place 7 unofficial results:

  • Kelvin Deupree 1,865 (61.33%)
  • Dana Harris 1,176 (38.67%)

Three unopposed City Council candidates were also elected:

  • Tito Rodriguez, Place 1
  • Suzy Compton, Place 3
  • Blake Vaughn, Place 5

The unofficial results do not include all Provisional and Absentee Ballots. The City Council will canvass the election results on Wednesday, May 17.

May 6, 2023 Election

North Richland Hills voters will have a longer than usual ballot this May with 26 amendments to the City Charter and one City Council race being decided. Elections for Keller ISD Board of Trustees and Tarrant County College District Board of Trustees will also be on the ballot for some NRH residents. Be sure to review your sample ballot and learn about each of the 26 charter amendments before you go to the polls.

Voting Locations

NRH registered voters can vote at any polling location in Tarrant County. View the list of polling locations on the Tarrant County Elections website. The following polling locations will be open in North Richland Hills: 

  • NRH Library, 9015 Grand Ave. 
  • Former Bursey Senior Center, 7301 Bursey Rd.

Due to construction on Glenview Drive, the Dan Echols Center is not a polling location for this election. Nearby polling locations include Haltom City Senior Center, 3201 Friendly Lane, Haltom City Library, 4809 Haltom Rd and Richland Hills City Hall, 3200 Diana Drive.

Voting Hours

Early Voting

  • Monday - Friday, April 24 - 28, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Saturday, April 29, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  •  Sunday, April 30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
  • Monday - Tuesday, May 1 - 2, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Election Day

  • Saturday, May 6, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
