Holiday Closures & Garbage / Recycling Schedule

Friday, November 24, 2023

Garbage and recycling will not be collected on Thanksgiving Day. Thursday’s collections will be made on Friday and Friday’s collections will shift to Saturday.

City Facilities Holiday Hours

NRH City Hall

Closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23 and 24.

Animal Adoption & Rescue Center

Closed Thursday, Nov. 23 through Saturday, Nov. 25.

Iron Horse Golf Course

Open for early morning rounds only on Thanksgiving Day.

Library 

Closed Thursday, Nov. 23 through Sat., Nov. 25.

Municipal Court

Closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23 and 24.

NRH Centre

  • Wednesday, Nov. 22, open 5 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Aquatics hours 5:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
  • Closed on Thanksgiving Day 
  • Friday, Nov. 25 open 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Aquatics hours 7:15 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.)

Richland Tennis Center

  • Open 8 a.m. to Noon on Wednesday, Nov. 22
  • Closed  Thanksgiving Day
  • Closed Friday, Nov. 24

Senior Center

Closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24.
