Two Free Live Music Concerts in NRH this October!

Live music returns to North Richland Hills with Autumn Sounds!  Join us at City Hall Plaza, 4301 City Point Drive, as two terrific area music groups take the stage to entertain you. Visitors can enjoy both concerts with family and friends - bring your picnics, lawn chairs and blankets and prepare for fun, relaxation and your favorite tunes under the stars this Fall. Good Times, Great Music are back in North Richland Hills!

Special Dates, Special Times

On Saturday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m., our very popular "Lights and Music" event will take place, featuring Memphis Soul, NRH audience favorites who specialize in the music of Motown. As a visual treat, Lightware Labs will be projecting spectacular video imagery onto the face of the NRH City Hall rotunda while the band plays. Don't miss this amazing show, with incredible music and digital projection!  Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

On Thursday, October 12Texas Flood will be performing in a concert that was originally scheduled for Sounds of Spring on April 28. The weather didn't cooperate that day, but we're looking forward to a terrific show this fall. Take note of the special start time of 6:30 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

Location & Time 

The Autumn Sounds Concerts are held at the NRH City Hall, 4301 City Point Drive. For the October 7 concert, the gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. For the Thursday, October 12 concert, the gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the music starts at 6:30 p.m. Seating is on the lawn, so don’t forget your blankets and lawn chairs. 

Admission 

Admission is free and parking is free.  Food will be available for purchase from a variety of food trucks, or you are welcome to bring your own picnic, but please no glass containers.

The NRH City Hall Plaza is a non-smoking park in accordance with City Ordinance #2249. The following are not allowed: video and audio recording, unauthorized vendors and glass containers. Also, please no two-wheel scooters or skateboards. 

Parking 

Parking is free and is on a first come, first served basis. When you arrive, please turn on to City Point Drive from Boulevard 26. Public Safety will then direct you to the concert event parking. Event parking signs will also help direct you to Sounds of Spring parking. Handicap parking is also available. Parking Map.

Pooch Policy

Dogs are welcome to sit with their humans for the concerts, but dogs must be on a leash while at the NRH City Hall Plaza. Please make sure you pick up after your pet, and be aware that dogs that display aggression, such as snapping or loud barking will be asked to leave. We want to make sure people and their furry friends have a safe and fun time at Sounds of Spring!

A Word About the Weather

Texas can provide some stormy weather any season. Your safety and the safety of our performers is very important to us. Please check back on our main city page or on Facebook for the latest updates if inclement weather occurs on the day of the concert.
