Apply for New Commercial Water Service
Welcome, to establish new service with the City of North Richland Hills the following is required:
A tax ID number is required for all commercial applications.
A deposit and service charge is required for all metered services. Commercial deposits are based on historical average consumption using no less than twelve (12) months of data, computed using the current North Richland Hills water and wastewater rates. The deposit is equal to two times the average monthly bill. If history is unavailable, the deposit is taken from the City's current deposit schedule for commercial accounts. To receive a deposit quote in advance contact the Utility Customer Service Office.
The deposit will bill immediately upon activation of service, is due upon receipt of the bill and delinquent twenty (20) days from the bill date. If there is evidence of non-payment on a prior account, the deposit is subject to increase and must be paid prior to service initiation.
The City reserves the right to hold or delay service requests for any of the following reasons:
1. Incomplete application
2. Service location recently disconnected for non-payment
3. Unpaid balance from prior service
Applications are processed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and require a twenty four (24) hour notice prior to the requested start date. After the application is approved, a confirmation email will be sent. If there is a hold or delay in processing the application, a Utility Customer Service representative will contact you. Someone must be at the property for the water to be turned on. A request for a return trip will result in additional fees.
Commercial Garbage and Recycling Collections are provided by Republic Waste Services. Commercial customers must contact Republic Waste Services at (817) 317-2085 to initiate contract for garbage or recycling services. For more information on garbage collection visit Republic Waste website.
