City Council Goals

The North Richland Hills City Council is dedicated to making our community the City of Choice for all citizens to live, work and play. To accomplish this, the Council has adopted a plan for the future. The plan was first approved in February 1998 and has been reviewed and updated periodically to respond to changing needs in our community. The latest update was made in May 2021. The plan provides a clear vision and goals for the city's future. It is the road map that directs our city toward positive change and serves as the policy direction for city government. It also serves as a guide for developing the city's budget. The plan provides a mission statement, vision statement and sets nine goals by which to govern:
