Neighborhood Initiative Program
Neighborhood Initiative "Fix It Blitz"
The City of North Richland Hills and the Community Enrichment Center are partnering with community volunteers for a Neighborhood Initiative “Fix It Blitz” on October 20 and 21, 2012. During this weekend, volunteers will complete numerous community service projects to help those who are less fortunate in our community.
Projects may include home maintenance, repairs and yard work for the elderly, mentally or physically challenged, and single parents. This program helps residents continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes and also helps to make their neighborhoods a better place.
If you would like to give back to your community and volunteer for the Fit It Blitz event, please complete our online Volunteer Registration Form
The City of North Richland Hills is reinvesting in its neighborhoods by offering volunteer assistance and rebates to help qualified residents make needed home repairs.
The Neighborhood Initiative Program is now accepting applications for Areas #4 & #5. This includes neighborhoods west of Loop 820 on Glenview to Boulevard 26, north on Davis Boulevard to Lynda, east on Lynda to Colorado Boulevard and east on Harwood to the city limits line. Please read our letter to residents
for more details. We are also still accepting applications from Areas #1 and #2, which consist of North Richland Hills neighborhoods located inside Loop 820 and Area #3 which is east of Rufe Snow Drive and west of Smithfield Road, between Mid-Cities and Chapman. View map
