The North Richland Hills Public Library opened in its new location at 9015 Grand Avenue on April 19, 2008. The library offers a wide variety of books, videos, CDs, and other information resources and services. Features of the library include:

  • 49,000 square feet of finished space and 10,000 square feet of shell space for future expansion;
  • A collection of approximately 172,000 volumes;
  • A dynamic children's area with space for story times;
  • Small business assistance office;
  • Career center for job seekers;
  • 6 study rooms;
  • 2 public meeting rooms;
  • Local history room;
  • Cafe, proudly serving Starbucks coffee;
  • New Radio Frequency Identification Technology, also known as RFID, to speed up the process of checking out books and tracking library inventory;
  • 75 public computers for searching the library catalogs and accessing the internet;
  • Free wireless internet services.
