The City of North Richland Hills' R-SPIRIT Core Values Program represents the core values that the City Council and all employees adhere to. These values include:

NRH employees are recognized for incorporating these values into their daily activities with "On-the-Spot Awards," which are presented throughout the year by directors and supervisors. Employees may also be nominated by their peers for the Core Value Awards and Employee of the Year. Recent award recipients include:
