Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the humane care of all animals brought into the North Richland Hills Animal Adoption/Rescue Center. Position involves responsibility for the operation and maintenance of shelter equipment, care and feeding of unwanted, sick, stray, and quarantine animals. Provides customer service to patrons by explaining animal control laws and regulations and processing animal adoptions, surrenders, and reclaims. REQUIRES: High school diploma or GED equivalent; experience and training in working with animals; and a valid Texas driver license with a good driving record over the last three years. Must attain Basic Animal Control Certification through the Texas department of Health within one year of employment. Work schedule will vary up to 30 hours per week.

To provide direction of the Summer Day Camp Counselors leading activities, games, sports, special events and field trips for youth (ages 6-12). Must maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for the youth and counselors through careful curriculum planning, counselor training and supervision, equipment provisions, facility and field trip scheduling. REQUIRES: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Recreation is preferred but not required; three years experience as a camp counselor and/or educator; and a valid Texas drivers license with a good driving record over the last three years. The schedule for this seasonal position varies Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:00pm from mid May through the end of August.

Job Summary:
Assist in the teaching of junior and adult tennis lessons; implement tennis lesson plans for all levels; assist in the stringing and repair of tennis racquets; assist in the direction of tennis tournaments; and perform the duties of the Pro Shop. REQUIRES: Must have a tennis background with experience on the high school and/or college competitive level. Must be sixteen years of age or older. Employees eighteen years of age or older must have a valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record over the last three years. Incumbent will also perform Pro Shop Staff duties.
