Month of Holiday Magic
Join us for a month of holiday activities in North Richland Hills!
Holiday Magic Christmas Tree Lighting & Family Festival
Friday, December 1
6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
at Hawk Avenue and Grand Avenue
North Richland Hills kicks off the 2017 Christmas season with the Holiday Magic Christmas Tree Lighting & Family Festival. The festival will include live music, community entertainment, food vendors, children’s activities, the Christmas Tree lighting, holiday scenes and of course Santa. A new location this year, along Hawk and Grand Avenues, brings the feel of a street festival to the event and also allows activities to be moved indoors to the Library and NRH Centre in case of inclement weather. The location also provides an opportunity for the city’s Christmas Tree and popular holiday photo scenes to be enjoyed throughout the entire month of December.
The Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Stormy Plaza and will be immediately followed by a fireworks show. Memphis Soul will be performing classic and holiday hits starting at 7 p.m. on the NRH Centre Plaza. The following groups will also be performing on the main stage by the Christmas Tree:
- 6:00 PM Village Voices of Foster Village Elementary
- 6:15 PM Walker Creek Coyote Choir
- 7:00 PM Husky Harmonics of Holiday Heights
- 7:15 PM Green Valley Elementary
- 7:30 PM North Ridge Elementary
- 7:45 PM Academy at CF Thomas
- 8:00 PM Snow Heights Singers
- 8:15 PM Artistry in Motion
- 8:30 PM Dallas Puppet Theatre with Pix Smith
