Northeast Tarrant Teen Court
North Richland Hills, Haltom City and Watauga have partnered together to create the Northeast Tarrant Teen Court as an alternative to the traditional justice system. Available to teenagers who receive Class C tickets, Teen Court allows youths the opportunity to avoid paying the associated fines and having the offense on their record by successfully completing community service based sentences and terms determined by a jury of their peers. Defendants must plead guilty or nolo contendere to their charge(s) and request the Teen Court Program to the Municipal Judge. Learn more about Teen Court.
