Achievement of Excellence in Procurement
The National Procurement Institute established a program in 1995 designed to recognize organizational excellence in public procurement. The Achievement of Excellence in Procurement® is awarded annually. This prestigious award is earned by those organizations that demonstrate excellence by obtaining a high score based on standardized criteria. The criteria are designed to measure innovation, professionalism, productivity, e-procurement, and leadership attributes of the procurement organization.
In 2015 the City of North Richland Hills Purchasing Division earned the annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award. NRH is one of only 44 agencies in Texas and 65 cities in the United States and Canada to earn the 2015 award. This is the sixth year in a row the City of North Richland Hills has received this recognition.
