Planning & Development

The Planning & Development Department is the primary contact for property owners, developers, surveyors and engineers who desire to develop property in the City. Primary activities include the review and recommendation of proposed subdivision plans, rezoning, special use permit, site plan, thoroughfare plan, variances and landscape requests to the Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council. The purpose of this review process is to ensure that proposed developments follow adopted plans, guidelines and policies that are beneficial to the community as a whole. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments. We will be happy to assist you.
